Returning readers will know very well how much I love individual and distinct products. In fact, when I am shopping, the thing that often determines whether I purchase a product or not, is it's uniqueness. That is why I could not help but share with you a new label called Made by CC.C, from two Melbourne sisters Chloe and Charlene. 

I recently spoke to the girls about Made by CC.C and here is what they had to say.

When did you each realise that you were interested in creating art and fashion?

We sort of grew up in a creative household, everyone in the family was always into the creative arts – whether it be music, visual arts, fashion, etc. It just seemed natural for us to be interested and involved in it.

What inspires you both?

Anything! Literally. We can walk down the street and find something that inspires us – the textures of the trees or the concrete ground, the colours of the sky and the flowers or the shapes of houses or objects. I’m (Chloe) more inspired by nature and the Earth whilst Charlene is more inspired by the quirky side of things and pop culture. It’s the combination of our sources of inspiration that create our brand.

What is your vision for Made by CC.C? What things do you wish to create? 

We aim to create a difference in the way people view fashion, in the sense of creating a more sustainable living. Our brand focuses on recycling materials to create products that are different and unique to what is offered in the industry today... Our ideas will just naturally come into mind as our knowledge and skills will just further develop as we go. Therefore we wish to create unique products that people can wear with an, “I made a difference in the world” attitude.

What are your hopes for the future in terms of creating?

To just keep creating things and most importantly, to stay inspired. By doing so we hope to keep surprising people with the things we create. Who knows what we will create in the next year or so!
